Halloween Costume: James the Baby Dragon

I hope you all had a great Halloween!

Our son James was a little dragon, this year!
Now that he is 2
(2 and a half at the end of the month!)
he really enjoyed wearing his costume.
Even the hat!

He looked so handsome in his dragon outfit!

We got the costume from Pottery Barn Kids.

I already wanted James to be a dragon, last Halloween
( Born in 2012, he is a Dragon baby in the Chinese zodiac)
but my husband really wanted James to be a little monkey,
which was a wonderful idea!

Here is a photo of last year's Halloween costume.

That is my mum in the background, ha ha!

Oh, and I would love to show you a photo of James as a pumpkin for his very first Halloween.

Here it is!

So this year, James was definitely going to be a dragon!
My wonderful mum custom-made his matching green
dragon tee-shirt and pants and I got the shoes from Native
in the grasshopper color.

We already know what we would like James to be
for next year's Halloween!
I am keeping it a secret! (wink)
Hopefully,
we will still be able to choose his costume, next year
because when he is four, he will most definitely want to pick
his own costume.

Like every year, we wanted to get some nice photos,
so we hired a photographer.
We met Genevieve the day before Halloween, at Mr. Bones pumpkin patch, in West Hollywood.
She is a great photographer
and we really enjoyed the shoot!

I would like to share the photos with you.

Unfortunately, daddy was out of state for business and could not be there, for the photo shoot.
We are planning on seeing Genevieve again, with my husband this time,
so that we can get
some great family portraits.

I love this last photo with mamie and papi !
(grandma and grandpa in French)

My mum and dad left exactly a week ago, today.
It was sad to see them leave...
We spent a fantastic couple of months, together!

Now Thanksgiving and Christmas are approaching
and that is something great to look forward to!

Christmastime is our favorite time of the year!

Thanks for stopping by,
Alexandra
